About Me

"Do one thing everyday that scares you" - I am all about getting out of my comfort zone and some of the best moments of my life have come from doing just that.

I am currently on a journey that I have been dreaming about for many, many years: drop everything and go discover what the world is about. The more I see of the world, the more I want to explore and learn about it. There is just so much of it! One big thing I've enjoyed so far in my travels is meeting people, whether they are locals or other travellers, it's just amazing to hear all the stories, make new connection and to see what good there is still in the world.

So what can I say about myself...

I am a bit shy and quiet at first when I meet new people, but I do come out of my shell and get more talkative.

I love food, wether it's cooking it, tasting it, thinking about it or just talking about it. I am only mildly obsessed with it. I like to discover the local flavours wherever I go.

I think I'm a pretty positive and open minded person, I like to get to know people, but no just small talk, but to get into deeper conversations.

Beauty is in the simple things, there's no need for things to be always complicated. Sunrises, thunderstorms, the view from the top of a mountain, spontaneous fun, finding treasures wherever you go... that's the good stuff!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Through my travels, I realize that I would much rather see a country through the eyes of a local than like a tourist. I want to get an idea of the culture, the way of life, what people are like, how they think, what they've done... Making lasting connections through travels is something truly unforgettable.

I've only had a few experiences so far but they have been great, it makes me look forward to welcoming surfers when I have a home again!

Movies: The Shawshank Redemption, the Bourne Trilogy, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Fight Club, The Thomas Crown Affair, Run Lola Run, .... there are so many others I just never can seem to remember them all

Music: electronic music is my go to, but I do like most music, it just really depends on my mood and what I'm doing. I'm always open to discovering new music and seeing what others like

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped out of a plane at 13000 feet!

And a second one: I left everything at home to solo travel around the world.

I speak three languages (French, English, Spanish) and I'm happy to share that in any way I can.

I also love to cook and share a meal with people so I would love to do that for us!
