About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a California native who has called New York my home for the last five years.

I spent some time studying in Mexico and Costa i Rica, and traveled to Europe and Asia on my last few vacations. I am very much interested in hosting and meeting folks from abroad.

NYC is a very popular destination. I get many requests and am not always able to respond in detail. Before requesting, please read this important info about my hosting/surfing:

I will ONLY host WOMEN as I have a one bedroom
I will ONLY host one guest at a time.
I AM NOT interested in using this as a hookup app.
I AM NOT going to have SEX in exchange for a couch.

Thanks for your consideration! Happy travels!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The world is a vast and beautiful place that I enjoy learning about and visiting. Teaching is a rewarding career, that affords me time off to explore. However, it does not afford me the ability to visit all the parts of the world in luxury-which is perfectly fine as I prefer to travel less as a tourist.

Interests

I am earning my doctoral degree, but when I am not reading and writing, I enjoy dancing, biking, dancing some more, thrift store shopping, chocolate, traveling, walking, listening to odd radio stations, the smell of jasmine, the rare old fashioned doughnut, and checking out museums.
