Hello!! I have spent many many year wanderlusting and now it's finally time to do some CRAZY things around Europe! I grew up in Montreal which is an extremely open minded city where people are so friendly people become friends with hobos (no jokes). And I love to spread that culture. I'm an extrovert as well as an introvert.... it really depends on the vibe I feel from a person or a group. I'm more outgoing than timid though! I don't mind looking like an idiot as long as I'm comfortable and having fun. I'm travelling with my little sister who is my BEST FRIEND. She just turned 18 and it will be her first time in Europe. She's hilarious and also super friendly. I love team sports like volleyball and rugby which I played in high school. I also LOVE dancing! I use to always take drop in classes and would be very interested in doing so in London. (Let me know if you know any good teachers close to where you live). Camping, rock climbing and hiking is also something I do in Canada often. I'm not really a typical 20 year old... I do occasionally go out for a night of drinking but it's really not my favorite thing to do. I would much rather spend an evening of ice skating or going to a carnival or something. I come from a huge family: my 4 sisters, my parents, 2 cats and 1 dog so I think I'm pretty good at not taking too much space as well as respecting other people's bubbles. I will be in London for about 3 weeks. If you would like to hang out or maybe host us for 1 night don't hesitate to message us :) We'd love to get to know ya! Dominique :)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I heard about couch surfing a few years ago and always thought it was so extreme. I signed up never really thinking I would ever use it. But I've looked at many people's profiles and I think there's a lot I could learn from people with such generosity and people who are able to trust other human beings. It's very admirable and I'd like to be introduced to more people like that! Couch surfing will definitely bring me out of my comfort zone which is what I think will make my first trip to London even better! Also, I'm still a student and I would be lying if I said I could afford to constantly travel only with airbnb and hostels. My sister and I would love to offer the world to thank people's generosity but we have to be very careful with our money since we still have many more months of travelling :) We can't afford luxury however we would really love to come over with groceries and share a home cooked meal with you :)
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I spent three months living in a tent in Germany last summer.
Teach, Learn, Share
My mother is a musician and she lent me one of her ukuleles to bring with me while travelling. I've only been playing for about 1 month and only know a few chords but it's really the funnest thing to pick a song a to practice it with a group of people. I could definitely teach you the chords and songs I know. It's pretty easy to learn :) I want to learn so many things! I want to learn how to dance especially Latin dancing! I know so little about politics that it is almost embarrassing so I would definitely want to learn about world politics as well as European politics.
