Overview
About Me
I am an adventurous soul from a small town in Louisiana. Growing up in such a close-knit community sparked my love for exploring new places and meeting new people. Now, I travel the world while working full-time in finance for a Big Four bank. I have a degree in Economics, which has come in handy in my career.
I run a travel blog(www.beardedbackpackertr.com) where I share my experiences and tips, and I also create travel content (IG @thebeardedbackpacker_ ) to inspire others to see the world. Whether I'm hiking through beautiful landscapes, trying out local dishes, or finding hidden gems, I love capturing these moments and connecting with people from all walks of life.
I'm open-minded and very spontaneous—I’ll try something new at least once! Back home, I have a loyal and energetic dog who keeps me grounded and reminds me to enjoy the simple things in life. Despite my love for adventure, I consider myself pretty down-to-earth and always eager to learn something new, whether it's a skill, a recipe, or a piece of local history.
I’m looking forward to meeting fellow travelers, sharing stories, and making new memories together. Let’s explore and learn from each other!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’ve chosen Couchsurfing because it offers a unique opportunity to share stories, create lasting memories, and build friendships across the globe. There's something incredibly enriching about staying with locals, learning their customs, and getting insider tips that you just can’t find in a guidebook.
Whether it’s exploring hidden gems in your city, cooking a traditional meal together, or just chatting about our favorite travel adventures, I’m looking forward to making meaningful connections and experiencing the true essence of each place I visit.
In return, I’m happy to share my own travel tales, help out around the house, or introduce you to some of my own cultural traditions. I believe in the spirit of giving and receiving, and I’m excited to be part of a community that values hospitality, kindness, and cultural exchange.
Looking forward to meeting you and sharing wonderful experiences!
