I come from the small Canadian province called Nova Scotia. It's a beautiful place, and an even better home. However, I am ambitious to see to world, make friends and create memories all over.
My father was a musician back his day, so naturally I grew up listening to great music and being surrounded by instruments. I started playing professionally as a musician when I was 14. With my first high-school group "The Third Step", we played all around the province, won contests, and had a blast. I knew that music was something I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
Today I play in a Rock/Funk group called "StoneHouse", and we released our first album in December of 2016. We write and record all of our own music, and we produced the record ourselves. We've played all around Eastern Canada, and we are soon doing a Canadian tour.
I'm also a tech nut. I love computers (I built my own), gaming, graphic designing (I do all of the graphic design for my band), website development (check out stonehousemusic.ca, the first website that I built!), and audio engineering (I write and record lots of music at home).
Aside from music, I try to keep an active lifestyle. I love surfing, playing hockey with my friends, hiking all over the province, and exercising regularly.
I hope to travel all across this rock and meet people and establish connections that will stick with me for life!

My life goal is to see the world and make friends and connections all over. When I found out about Couchsurfing, I jumped on the opportunity. It is exactly what I was looking for, and I'd love to be a part of this community!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is a big part of my life. I love all sorts of genres of Music including Rock, Funk, Rap, Soul, R&B, Jazz, Reggae, and Folk to just name a few.
My favorite band today is the Canadian Southern-Rockers, The Sheepdogs. I grew up listening to them, and I actually got to meet them after a show in Moncton, New Brunswick. I also love groups like Steely Dan, Tame Impala, Supertramp, Audioslave, The Doobie Brothers, Pearl Jam, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Earth Wind & Fire, Kings of Leon, The Black Keys, and Pink Floyd.
My favorite artists would include Steve Miller, James Taylor, John Mayer, Bill Withers, Micheal Jackson, Peter Frampton, and Marvin Gaye.
As for films, I'm a big fan of Tarantino movies. But some of my favorite films would include "The Big Lebowski", "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?", and "Inside Lleywn Davis".
I'm a big fan of the literature of J.R.R Tolkien, The Hobbit is my favorite read. I also enjoy the works of George Orwell (1984).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At the age of 18, I had already recorded a full length LP with my group "StoneHouse" and have toured around Canada.
