One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last minute my friend cancelled his travel and I decided to push through travelling hongkong alone with no clear itenerary. I went there for a few days carrying my backpack with few clothes. I arrived in a hostel with incorrect date booked. Luckily, I can speak a little mandarin that saves my day. I met chinese new found friend from shanghai and he help me to find a place to stay. Not knowing the day I arrived, hongkong is celebrating beer festival. Qing tour me around the city and we enjoyed the festival. On the nextday Qing flyback to his country and I find new hostel where I stay in a mixed domitory. I met maks from ukraine and moto from japan. We walk around the city and shared stories. We communicate through chinese language too. And the most unforgettable is the lastday. I arrived at the airport 5hrs earlier before my flight. Unfortunetely weather is bad due to typhoon and my flight was cancelled. However the earlier flight before my mine was allowed to flyback to manila. While waiting for update. One of the officers approach us and told that there are 5 available seat for the leaving aircraft. But, only with no check-in baggage are allowed. My backpack saved the day! I arrived manila around 11pm safe and sound. And have my Tapsilog dinner in Estrella. That first was truly unforgettable :) Since then, I always do a week or two travelling locally every two months as Backpaker and living in a mixed domitory majority of the travel.
