Really :) But we also really like to meet new people. To speak, laugh, find out about similarities, find out about things we have in common, find out abour other cultures and to find out you can have the friend-feeling in no time if you're open for it!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When Dorothée her friend Marloes (also on couchsurfing) and Dorothée found out about couchsurfing they immediatly liked the idea and were very curious how couchsurfing would work out for the if they would give it a try! They made a profile from the two of the and since the moment they discovered couchsurfing they have done two great trips where they were the couchsurfers. Couchsurfing is so good that they decided to make single profiles. Because of her worksituation Dorothée is not able to host people. But for sure when she has her next place to live she would really like to host people for the rest of her life :) Right now we (Dorothée and her other friend Petra) are travelling through Southeast Asia and Australia! Looking for great adventures an great people to spend their time with!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Marloes and Dorothée went couchsurfing in Portugal, Ireland and Paris. They were really wondered about the kindness of all the surfing and all the hostingpeople they met. The trust to go sleep in someone else his house, the trust to let someone sleep in your house and above all the trust that you probably will have a very good time together. All their experiences were worth the the trust! The couchsurfholidays were Dorothée her best holidays! Togheter with her sailholdiays :) That might be because of the unexpexted and because a lot of of couchsurfpeople are extraodinary nice people!

兴趣

We are interested in people and cultures. In the summer of 2005 we went to South Africa to build a house in a township. The most interesing part of this trip was the contact wit people form other cultures! That is why Dorothée after her social work study studied studied anthropology where she learned a lot about the world, cultures and her special interest is in development. In the same way Petra learned a lot about other cultures by making a three-month in
Malawi and Zambia and a four-month trip through Central and South America. The both of us like to organise activities for children and youngsters, to let them see that everything (well a lot of things are possible) if you really want it and if you make it happen! In the same way we hope our trip will be an inspiration for everyone!!
