ABOUT ME

Doug and I are an unmarried couple that live together in a three bedroom house in a very quiet neighborhood. We do not have any pets, and Doug does have a daughter. We will not be having travelers while she is here with us. Morristown, TN is not a place to come and party but is excellent for relaxation or for people who want to be about one hour away from the Smokies. This is a very conservative town in the Bible belt, but we are a non-conservative couple, obviously!

PHILOSOPHY

Doug and I both live for the moment! We are spontaneous people but are also very responsible. We live for having fun and getting to know people!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

To help build the CouchSurfing community would be an honor for both of us. We can honestly say that we are new to the whole experience, but are willing to give it our best shot.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have not yet had an experience but are open to many! I actually lived in Europe for about 5 months as a nanny and stayed in a couple hostels and loved it! So, I should think this will be similar in the fact that you are sharing space with people you do not know.

Interests

Doug and I are very physically active. He plays basketball, softball, and runs. I also run, and I love to dance. We both love music and reading. Several nights a week are spent by our fireplace with wine and conversation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While living in Europe, I visited Ireland for 11 days. It was the most beautiful place I had ever seen! I cannot wait to get the opportunity to get back there. Believe it or not, Doug has never been out of the US and one of goals is to do that!
