ABOUT ME

I am a third year medical student at the Medical College of Georgia; it's great. I'm in a pretty serious relationship, I have a couple of awesome cats, I enjoy writing poetry and progressive articles. I don't eat meat cuz the animals don't like it. I just started playing mandolin, and I type too many emoticons :-)

PHILOSOPHY

I think humor can be found in pretty much anything; when it can't be, at least you can find a helpful lesson in the experience. I think we should try to minimize the suffering in the world. I think we should give more of ourselves than we expect to get from others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm telling my friends and acquaintances about CS to make it as inclusive as possible.

I can host folks now! Come visit! We can sing and dance and be merry!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I took a month trip driving around the U.S. When my partner and I weren't sleeping in parking lots; we surfed with the coolest people in the country. It was a lovely experience.

Interests

Cats, Layal, family, friends (old and new), rugby (union), poetry, king of the hill, medical shows on TLC, Scrubs, zombies, interesting music, veggies, ketchup, electric vehicles, ralph nader, good movies, medical school, following politics, mandolin, and absolutely nothing else.

Books: The Descent, What Dreams May Come (or anything else by Richard Matheson), World War Z, A Map of The Child, His Dark Materials Trilogy (I am a fan or Iorek Byrnison, if i had to be an armored bear it would be him that i would be)

Music: System of a Down, Bad Religion, Shakira, Regina Spektor, Lupe Fiasco, Atmosphere, i think im going to get into some bluegrass and see if i can mix them all together

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw families of marmots in Rocky Mountain National Park
I went wave tackling in the Pacific Ocean with Archie and Shay
I almost got mauled by a momma bear in Sequoia National Park (near death experience #2)
I saw a beautiful sunset in Carmel, CA
I got out of the car and played in the middle of the interstate at night in Kansas
