About Me
Grew up in the middle of nowhere USA in a small town that has more cows than people. My high school had a graduating class of 38 and I'm the only one who's ever left the country. Because of this, I get bored really easily and will some times ramble in a conversation. Nowadays, I just write down what I wanna say in on a notecard so I don't forget what to say and I don't have to interrupt the conversation. But I'd much rather hear your stories anyway! :D
I moved BACK to Germany in August 2019 and this time I plan on staying and I love meeting new people. Everyone I've met on Couchsurfing so far was absolutely a memorable experience and I can't wait to fill my head with more experiences with y'all (yes y'all, I'm from the Southern states of the US). :-)
I've worked as a rock climbing instructor, turtle breeder, farmhand, Barista, physics T.A, Flight Instructor, and robotics teacher. I only like to take jobs that give me stories to tell. I'm now living and working at my second German private school and I'm training on the side to be a starship captain. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I live and work in Leipzig where and moved here right before lockdown so the only way I really meet new friends is with dating apps. I enjoy this but I'd rather find groups of people to play a random board game with. Other than that I'm Couchsurfing for the same reason that you are Couchsurfing whatever that may be ;)
I also found this group of people on YouTube called YesTheory and their motto is "Seek Discomfort" because the most dangerous position for people to be in is comfortable. When you're comfortable, you're not learning or growing and when you are uncomfortable, time slows down a little bit and you pay more attention to what's around you. When time slows down... life lasts longer. :)
Check them out, I guarantee you'll enjoy them. :D
This is a video of one of them surviving in Paris with no money and purely on the kindness of strangers.

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything that makes me think. I enjoy comic books a little more than the average person, mainly IMAGE Comics. That's the company that publishes The Walking Dead comic. Other books I read are exclusively nonfiction about physics or something similar like numbers. :D
I also enjoy movies to a snobby level so if you ask me what I thought of a movie then I'll give an almost too honest opinion. I have the opposite view on music because I'll listen to all of it equally. Older music always has a place in my heart though.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I didn't do this but when I was born my mom gave me the middle name "Loving" and that's pretty amazing.
Thanks mom.
I also once delivered a baby cow.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm really into teaching which is great because people tell me I do a lot of cool stuff. I'm a quick learner at everything but I've hardly mastered anything. This includes piloting, swing dancing, guitar playing, soccer, video editing, astrophysics, calculus, cooking, rock climbing and a lot more. I learned simple sleight of hand for the purpose of teaching it to 7th graders in a workshop. I have a curious mind and I love to discover new things. I know a little bit about a lot of things but I'm not really a master of anything except talking to strangers.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook you a traditional Southern-Style American breakfast. (It's just a normal breakfast with a lot more salt) You'll also never be board with me around because I love to dance with partners, doesn't matter what gender, and I'm always thinking of new games to play with people that I just met. That use to be another one of my jobs I'll explain later. These can be drinking games or otherwise but all games can be turned into drinking games.
