To you all. Just like everyone else who has happened to make it far enough to have to take care of themselves, I have found myself in an un-fortunate life crisis. In order to restore purpose, structure, and routine back into my life I chose to come to Houston Texas for hurricane clean up. Well for some reason certain people think it's cute to post ads that are scams. I responded to a fake ad on facebook and left everything I knew and most of what I owned in denver Co hoping that I could be of some help to these masses of people who were victims of mother nature, and maybe by chance find myself. I left my home town for a variety of reasons but I'd have to say primarily because it was finally that time that presented it's self and I could. I took a crazy spontaneous leap of fear into life. I clearly saw that the choices and lifestyle I had assumed in Colorado were very threatening to a number of different things but it was my freedom that I was protecting the most. I've made mistakes like we all have and I've fully paid my debts to society and now have been a free man for going on 2 years now. I've never married or had any kids and I could count the number of true friends I actually had on 1 hand with fingers and a thumb left over ok. Luck hasn't always been the best to me and everyone has a story. I'm really not expecting to much but I'm curious to see if there's anyone out there who can relate to me and lend a hand up to a decent humble guy who doesn't really have anyone who can afford to help him out, being in a different just adds to the difficulty. We all need help at times and I know that when I'm in the right position to help my fellow man that's what I'm going to do. I come from a great family and we all love each other. Thanks to being adopted I have loving and caring parents and I have 2 brothers and a sister. I come from an upstanding Christian family. My little brother was a highly decorated war hero who was tragically killed in action in Musa Qula Afghanistan in 2007. He was a Dr. And he was a son, and a brother, and many many other things but above all else he was and still is my best friend. I'm confident that he is going to work through all of you to chip in just a little bit and help save my life. I say that because I'm at my lowest of lows and in financial defecet at best. I don't want to resort to criminal activities and lifestyles to feed myself, or provide shelter for myself of which I have none. All of these are due to choices that I made indeed. But heh, I'm alive, and sober, inspiring to get a job on a shrimp boat since I'm out here. Port isabel texas is where I currently am and I stay wherever I can without getting yelled at. I eat what ever I can to feed myself without stealing from anyone. I'm my afraid to work. I welcome and seek employment everyday as we speak even. A little goes a long way. Please if you can relate to any of this or if you're just the type of person with compassion and empathy, and you can afford to help me without taking away from yourself or your family, then I would have to say thank you so much.
