About us!

Hi, we [Steffi , Snow & Xena (our feline children) and I] are nature enthusiasts, environmentalists, feminists, liberals, open to the world of possibilities and always excited to meet new people and learn about different cultures, countries, and communities.

I am passionate cook. I love to connect with people, places, and cultures by learning about and immersing in the food. I equally enjoy eating food. I love playing Chess and I always dream of hosting guests who can also play good chess. :) I'm a fitness enthusiast and I dream of mastering all the moves in calisthenics one day. I enjoy sci-fi movies, TV series, Wes Anderson movies... aargh! the list goes on...

Steffi is a bundle of joy. All the beauty, DIYs, decorations that you would see in our home will all be Steffi's work. I'm just responsible for procurement. :P Steffi has been a pro athlete, professional Bharatnatyam Dancer, she paints, designs house interiors and clothes... Her talents are limitless. And yes, you will like her more than me once you meet her. She's really good with people in general. I'm selective on the other hand. :D

Snow and Xena are our feline children. They have very distinct personalities. Snow has a calm personality and is very selective of the people whom he likes, just like his dad (me). He is shy in the beginning, if you don't bother him much he will show warmth and affection. He is also very kind.. he doesn't scratch or bites at all, he is too timid to do that. :D Xena, on the other hand, is too excited about everything. She has all the energy in the world. She becomes friendly in no time. Everyone loves her.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rescued a puppy from a 15 meter deep and tunnel

Jumped from a 100 m high bridge with rubber bands attached to my legs

Weaved a cot/bed for my mother

Broke many gender stereotypes in the patriarchal Indian society starting with my own family...

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach:

Cooking (limited recipes), Gardening, Vipassana (a type of Meditation), bits and pieces of hiking/camping/rock climbing and some calisthenics; DIYs, Painting, Bharatnatyam (Classical Indian Dance, enough to impress anyone for 15 seconds :P)

We wish to learn:

New Languages (French is a priority), baking, surfing, slack-lining, juggling, anything that you know. :D
