Resumen
Sobre mí
Please call me Zi! It is so hard to decide who to become later in life, so I decided to go everywhere and become everyone. I lived in Vietnam, Japan and Germany. Backpacking across India with my boyfriend at the moment.
Curious, warm and friendly by nature, I can’t go to bed at night without knowing I have learned something or met someone new for the day.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
When I go to a new place I usually make friends with people on the same train/bus/plane and they often kindly offer to host me. Therefore I’m not really active on CS but I love the idea of mutual trust, esp in a world where people constantly tell you not to trust strangers. I’ve gone this far all thanks to strangers’ kindness. CS is interesting in that sense.

Música, películas y libros
Ukulele! And I sing too. Want to find friends to jam with.
Favorite artists are Damien Rice and Of Monsters and Men, but my music taste ranges from alternative rock to pop country to Disney songs.
I'm a big movie goer. I am open to anything that makes me think so I watch basically every movie and good tv series ever. GoT, Westworld, Rick and Morty, Black Mirror, House of Cards etc.
Movies: Birdman, Before Sunset/sunrise/midnight, Benjamin Button, Mr. Nobody, Call me by your name, and anything Wes Anderson.
Harry Potter is a big big part of my childhood. Currently reading (a lot of) traveling blogs and books and fantasizing about meeting cool people and unexpected things out there
Algo increíble que he hecho
My first ride from my town to Berlin was with two police cars. I was trying to hitch a ride on the autobahn, then a police officer picked me up, took me to a better spot (the entrance to the highway), stuck his thumb out to hitch a ride for me. No one stopped for us :P so he called his colleagues, 4 other police officers arrived and drove me all the way to Berlin.
I have two little blogs (one in Vietnamese, one in English) which I thought no one reads. One day I put my address on the blogs, telling anyone out there to send me something and I’ll write back. I received over 20 postcards and letters, and a small scholarship for writing.
Other amazing things I’ll do are still out there and they’re going to be a surprise!
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I can teach you how to play the ukulele in 20 minutes, how to make Japanese okonomiyaki (cabbage pie, boring, I know) and various types of yakisoba (fried noodles), how to clean up your place (cleaning and tidying have the power to change your life).
I’d love to learn about you! I’ve met many amazing people on the road, they all taught me a survival/traveling/hitch-hiking tip and gave me something to really think about. I hope to keep passing on this beautiful tradition.
