About Me

I'm a happy go lucky guy just trying to do my part in the world. I'm trying to give back by volunteering on medical missions to provide aid to those who need it. I figured what better way could there be to see the world than while helping others? November, 2018 will be my first trip abroad from the United States. I'll be in Bangladesh to give aid to the Rohingya. After, it's onwards to Vietnam and Hong Kong!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't want to just see other countries, I want to experience them. I want to immerse myself in the cultures, traditions, and beliefs of others so that I can better relate to people from all walks of life. I think the ability to have a network of friends that spans the entire globe is an incredible gift. I wish to be apart of such a network by both surfing and hosting.

Interests

I'm fortunate to live in an incredible city in a gorgeous state. I do everything I can to enjoy my time outdoors, whether it be hiking on the trails, mountain biking with friends, or trying not to get myself killed kayaking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Red Rocks Amphitheatre is probably the best music venue in the country. If there's a concert there while you're in town, I'd be happy to take you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This past summer I backpacked the Grand Tetons with my dad. I hiked and camped in the same area that my dad had done 40 years ago. It was a father son trip I'll never forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

While originally a business major, I fell in love with being a paramedic and working on an ambulance. I've spent the past 2 years back in school finishing prerequisite courses to apply to medical school. Being an adult learner has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I've also been involved in politics lately. As an alumnus of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, I've been engaged civically with promoting gun law reform and with promoting youth voter registration.
