Why I'm on Couchsurfing
For me Couchsurfing is about people, not just free accommodation. Hotels and rentals are everywhere, but they don’t show you real life and how people live in other countries. Staying with locals, talking in the kitchen, cooking together, or just sharing some tea that's what I like more. I’m here to exchange experiences and to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds. I’m genuinely interested in hearing other people’s stories: how you see the world, what you do, what you care about. In return, I’m happy to share anything about my country, and life in Russia.
Music, Movies, and Books
Nowadays I like chill music more, especially russian. Сироткин (Sirotkin) Свидание (Svidanie) Рушана (Rushana) Луни Ана (Luni Ana) and a lot of others I like The alchemist by Paulo Coelho. and read a lot technical stuff. Mostly I watch anime more than regular movies. Last thing that I liked it's Frieren: Beyond Journey's End and I love it
One Amazing Thing I've Done
This year I've created two English speaking clubs in my city, Kazan, and people love it!
Teach, Learn, Share
What I can share / teach: Basics of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) - I can explain things in a simple way or help with ideas for a website or project. Information about my country, language, and everyday life where I live. I can fix almost everything that's broken (even your heart lol) What I’d like to learn: More about local culture and national cuisine of places I visit. places that locals love not only for tourists. Language practice in real conversations. Things we can do together: Cook a simple dinner or breakfast together and exchange recipes. Walk around your city or visit some less touristy areas.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Languages (english, russian, uzbek), recipes of some dishes. Technical stuff like coding, fixing something (like dishwasher, vacuum cleaner etc).
