Overview
About Me
I left my corporate job at a start up company in fashion/marketing in New York City to backpack and explore the world. One of the greatest things from my travels is meeting the locals and getting to know their day to day life.
Part of the reason for my travels is to also volunteer and give back to the local communities that so graciously hosts us tourist. From teaching English at primary schools in Vietnam to street kids in manila. I also helped out at a local coffee shop to speak English to their customers. I look forward to giving back however I can in each place I visit.
I am also a very active person and love to go hiking and working out. I am a crossfitter so I'll probably find a box (gym) anywhere I go. It provides me a sense of ease and relaxation during my time at the start up and has now become essential to my everyday life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is something new to me, that was highly encourage from fellow backpackers I've met during my current travels. They told me it's a great way to meet locals as well as visit some of the local beauty of each town that locals only know. I love meeting new people and exchange culture. I am a Vietnamese American who grew up in Minnesota and moved to the big city, New York City, for my adult life.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love binging on series when I get lazy and want to relax. Some of my favorite series at the moment is Madame Secretary, Scandal, Designated Survivor, Greys Anatomy, and How to get away with Murder.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'd like to think giving up my job and life in New York City to travel has been the best thing I've done. I've been able to teach locals and children English in poverty to help them get a better opportunity to break proverty by knowing English.
