I love traveling and meeting new people. I also love art, culture, and history, love to explore, to photograph nature, animals and different countryside sceneries. I also teach communicative English to kids and adults, while I also teach art, health science, and vegan cooking. Mainly raw vegan cooking. I have traveled in Africa, most Asia, most of Vietnam, India, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, China, while I've also seen most of Eastern Europe, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Slovenia., Austria, Hungary, Spain, etc, etc. One of my favorite destinations for many years was California, where I started my trip across Mexico, ended up in Bolivia, and Peru. I love meeting different people and cultures, exploring their history and art. Especially the ancient art and visiting museums or galleries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I want to meet and talk to people. I already traveled to many countries all around the world, however, I always stay in a hostel or hotels. I want to change this experience and make it more fun. More personal, where I meet different people, from different cultures, to see if they can teach me something that the tour guide would not be able to show me or teach me. I am interested to find out what kind of wonderful fruit they grow in their countries, as I love eating fruit.

I created a mural wall painting in one of the Australian Aboriginal nursing homes, which made many people very happy.

Teach, Learn, Share

Think outside of the box. I've tried so many different jobs, from working with plants, in a wholesale nursery, to a restaurant work, I was a vegan cook for about 5 years, a professional artist and a painter, a professional massage therapist, I worked in many nursing homes, hospitals and clinics, cotton fields, as a driver, in the office, working with problematic teenagers who had difficulty with learning, there are so many things I've done even organic farming and a little bit of building, professional lawnmowing, etc, etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Life experiences. Knowledge of healthy diet and lifestyle. I can share my traveling stories. I can teach their kids if they have any kids. Or even if they themselves want to learn how to speak English. I can talk about Australia, nature, dangerous animals, or how to visit Australia, where to stay or if they want to study or live in Australia. I migrated to Australia in 1990 and became an Australian citizen. I lived in Australia for almost 30 years, traveling most of that huge land, living with Martu people, which are the largest Aboriginal tribe that lives in a middle of the desert. I know a lot about their culture and their history, which they personally told me.
