ABOUT ME
First and foremost I believe in community and collaboration among living things and across generations. Words, ideas and thots combined with intention and action are some of the most powerful and inspirational things I can think of.
Artist, musician and creative type interested in almost everything. I own a company which makes leather books and bags which I design and are sold on the internet. Play in a local Taiko drumming group and am learning to play the Shakuhachi flute.
Would like to explore the world more and learn from other people and their cultures.
Live with my dog, Alexandra. We walk daily either on the river or nearby golf course or one of the many trails nearby.
Have 2 kids, all grown and living in Seattle, WA.
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life passionately and without reservation, always a student and always growing. I believe in moving forward... always forward movement in my life... with the occasional eddy to soak it in.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to most music... everything from Opera to Electronic... love old jazz and the old female jazz vocalists... listen to most all genres.
Favorite authors are Emerson and Thoreau.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The relationship of a man and his dog is one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced in my lifetime... partnership, loyalty, communication. A dog has no ego or agenda except to be joyous, live in the moment and be with the one they love. What a great example and reminder. I am creating a book which tries to show in a more universal sense, with photographs, this relationship.
Teach, Learn, Share
One of the most pleasant things I have ever learned was the art of Gung Fu tea. It is a very informal way of preparing tea which is practiced in China. It is centered around community and a centering and calming experience all on it's own.
