About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To discover life.

ABOUT ME

Um, I've never been good at talking about myself, but I'll give it a shot. I grew up on a fruit orchard, which fostered a love of the outdoors and mother earth. I sometimes describe myself as a free sprirt in the sense that I an open to new ideas, peoples, cultures, places, and views, and I tend to move where the wind takes me. I love to sing, backpack, cook, and dance in the rain and its cool to meet new people in the process.

PHILOSOPHY

Travel freely through the world, with respect towards all living things, being open to every new possibility.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love just about everything. I think music is almost always best live. Sim Redmond, The Cat Empire, Led Zeppelin, Cat Stevens, Pink Floyd, Michael Franti and Spearhead to name a few.
Books: Everything from fiction to history. Just finished reading The History Of Tibet. Eat, Pray, Love, and Peace In Every Step are two of my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went zip-lining in Costa Rica and the last platform was bilt around one of the oldest trees in the rainforest, it was over 100, and its trunk was huge and it eminated wisdom. Being able to feel that tree and its age was as amazing as the zip-lining.

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess I know a bit about agriculture and the environment. I gerw up and live on a fruit orchard growing everything from apples to peaches, cherries, and flowers. We also press cider and I am learning to make apple wines. A few things I would like to learn more about are herbs, alternative medicine, making hard ciders and beer, and just more about other people and cultures.
