About Me

CURRENT MISSION

living life to the fullest, no regrets

ABOUT ME

easy going, open-minded, music lover, original, fun-loving, honest, veggievagabond, thoughtful, dry sense of humor

PHILOSOPHY

only you can live your dreams..

everyday is a once in a lifetime opportunity..

relax, there are only two things that ever happen in life; what you want to or what you dont want to. so you always have a 50/50 chance and you already know the outcome.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

travel has made me realize how lucky i am and that we all are truly the same/equal, since i will never be better than someone else, i spend more time trying to be better than myself and trying to make the world a better place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

my friend hosts couchsurfers and it was a great experience to meet people traveling. it is very similar to traveling itself except you have to get up and go to work in the morning (bloody hell) and they get to hang out and frolic ..

Interests

people that love life, those who live their dream(s), living in the moment - appreciating what i have, not the things i don't have

i work seasonally in rural alaska and then i travel 7 or 8 months of the year - i am grateful to live the life i have, i like to experience new things and other than travel, the things i enjoy most are live music, hiking/being outdoors, eating great food, living in the moment ..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i have traveled to roughly 60 countries, 48 states (usa)and lived in 16? different us states - spent a year in guatemala - roadtripped across central europe, eastern europe, the states and canada, LIFE HAS LEFT ME AWESTRUCK - i am a very lucky person

new years eve 2000 - being in angkor wat for a night time performance of the royal khmer ballet enacting the history of angkor wat, sitting in the jungle under a blanket of stars and looking at illuminated towers of the world largest temple with approximately 175-200 other people (awesome) aaaaand then (inside the compound) several cars pull up and the king of cambodia and his wife get out of the cars and sit 10 rows in front of us to watch the show - really ,,,

spending almost 5 months in africa, camping and seeing the great migration in the seregenti and hiking for 4 days in (very) rural northern ethiopia - spectacular, seeing the gorillas in the jungle of uganda and being blown away by the powerful, moving genocide museum in rwanda. vic falls, lake malawi, blah blah blah .. loved it all

spend everyday for one month and watch ever sunrise and sunset .. try it some time, you will be surprised what it does ..

Teach, Learn, Share

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
