I am a liberally minded person that loves meeting new people. My son is away at college and I have an extra room that is not being used. I work in the engineering dept. of a large corporation. I am a highly advanced amateur photographer and take my camera with me wherever I go. You can Google my name, Eddie Hade, and find my photos. I photograph a lot of portraits and live music events.

I have two boys ages 26 and 20 (today's date is 01-03-20
They no longer live at home.

I have been divorced for several years now and I am not really looking for a replacement. I am happy to be on my own. My youngest, is away at college and my oldest lives and works in Atlanta.

I live on the north side of Dalton Georgia and travel frequently to Chattanooga TN. Chattanooga is just 25 miles, or 40 kilometers, north of Dalton, Takes about 20 minutes to drive.

I live in a split level, 3 bedroom, two bath house with a swimming pool, in a nice suburban neighborhood.

I also have a little Jack Russel Terrier that will bark at you until he gets to know you or you pet him, whichever comes first.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For you, well, I have no problem providing a comforting space for an adventurous traveler.
For me, I would like to drive to places I've not seen in the USA and take photos of places and things that fire up my artistic vision. It would be nice to have a place to rest my weary head. I am always up for a photo adventure and if I have a local photo buddy that knows the area, well that would be awesome.
