Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first Couchsurfing experience was when we were hosted by a bunch of amazing guys in Bern, Switzerland. Not only did they share their place to us, they even cooked for us, and brought us to a local pub. It was their first time to couchsurf, and it has been a great experience for all of us.
On my first lone travel, I decided to go to Madrid. There I was hosted by Ruben who has become a great friend of mine. I would say that if I had not gone couchsurfing, my trip wouldn't be as wonderful. Ruben made me feel as if I were a local, and that's what I aim for every time I visit a new place.
Another lone travel to Belgium and I was hosted by Nicky who lives in Brussels. He and his housemates were lovely and we had interesting conversations. I agree that, indeed, Belgium has the best Trappist beers.
