Why I'm on Couchsurfing
We like to travel, meet new people and make friends. We also enjoy visiting friends and hosting people in our home. 如乡随俗 When in Rome, do as the Romans. We are ordinary people 老百姓who enjoy meeting other ordinary people. We want to experience life and learn from other people!
Music, Movies, and Books
Classical music, but we also enjoy a variety of contemporary instrumental and folk music. Favorite song, You Lift Me Up. We also enjoy classical literature which has stood the test of time. Our favorite book is les Miserables 悲惨世界 by Victor Hugo. Our favorite movie is Amazing Grace.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
We have moved back to Henan Zhengzhou China 中国 河南省 郑州市where our paths first crossed at the 河南教育学院.
Teach, Learn, Share
We are both teachers. Ed is currently teaching English in ZZ. Prior to that Ed was a literacy teacher for more than 23 years in the federal prison system. Rebekah taught English in the past in China, as well as Chinese in an American university for more than 12 years. We recently moved back to China to help care for our elderly father.
