About Me
I've always wanted to get into CS, but have always delayed it for reasons that where, I guess, unimportant. I'm starting it now because I need a place to stay in order to sort a few work issues, but seeing the different profiles I've read, I'm thinking of really getting into it. I still am in the process of fixing those work proceedings, but after that, here I come!
I graduated from high school back in 2009, and was in no way interested in being in a classroom any longer. The world has way too much to offer, in my opinion, to waste it sitting. So I worked for a year to save some money and decided to go to Mexico. I was there for 3 years. Not visiting that much, just living among mexicans. Being one of them. I guess I like to blend.
I'm hyperactive, so blending is a wonderful challenge to me, focusing on listening rather than talking, which I naturally do, sometimes (often haha) too much.
I'm searching for the new thing that will amaze me, shatter me so that I can rebuild myself anew. But it's getting harder and harder, because EVERYTHING amazes me and I try and incorporate new concepts into the "concept" (haha) that I am.
Let's meet, I'd love to be proven wrong (on any given subject), to be able to progress some more.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
See above?
For everything that I don't know/understand/agree with. And there is A LOT.
I want to be mesmerized.
Interests
I try to like more and more things. The more you like, the happier you feel.
I don't do a lot of activities, but I like most of them (except maybe for running. I never quite understood the point of it).
Thinking, torturing my brain trying to understand something I don't.
Philosophy! The "Enchiridion" (or Manual) by Epictetus, an early reading that deeply influenced my vision/thought process.
Tao te Ching (or Tao to king, or Daodejing or any other way of saying it) has had a profound influence on me over the past year. Lao Zu (or Lao Zi or Lao Tseu) really had a deep insight. Tao does that to you haha

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm easy, too open to pick any.
Books: TAO TE CHING (see above)
Music: Philip Glass is really interesting.
Rachmaninov, Mr Bungle, Sayag Jazz Machine, James Holden, Boards of Canada, Smashing Pumpkins, the Foals, KING CRIMSON, Jason Mraz's "Live at Java Joe's"....
I'm liking pop music more and more lately.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm alive. Isn't that the most amazing thing there is?
I've reduced my sex drive???
I don't know what to right, you'll decide what is amazing :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I've taught english and french, so there's that. I guess I could teach spanish.
Share about the Tao, even though it invites us to "teach without speeches".
Let's seek for wisdom, for we'll find it when we stop searching.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Look everywhere you can see. Never look, just see.
All universal matters are because they've always been. Not because they'll always be.
Never stop seeking the truth you won't find. If you find it, look again.
" "We can become miserable for thinking too much about the others", I've heard.
What if thinking about others was the only break to this constant misery?
One needs time to realize he is miserable."
-Me. I think.
