CURRENT MISSION

We're planning an eurotrip in July with interrail tickets (Poland-Germany-Austria-Italy-Croatia...?:) with my husband Adam and our 3-year-old son Tymon:)!

ABOUT ME

I am a lifestyle photographer (www.fafel.eu) and graphic designer, always cheerful and longing for some new adventures:) travelling around the world with her camera around the neck and willing to meet interesting people, young mom of the funniest and cutest little guy - Tymon (3y) and wife of Adam, both 25 (yup, we're Adam&Ewa). nowadays i'm staying in Warsaw running my photography business, studying economics and writing for our university's magazine Magiel.

PHILOSOPHY

if i were leo tolstoy i'd say: 'if you want to be happy, be.' but (un)fortunately i'm not - so i say: fall in love with details cause though the overall image can be hideous they most often happen to be fascinating:)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i've been here for a while:) but as we just bought our own new flat we're just beginning with hosting

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i've been traveling through Balkans and stayed with couchsurfers from Maribor, Ljublajana and Vienna. I've also met up with some of couchsurfers in London and Warsaw and of course on the road;)

photography is my job and passion, so i can talk about it for hours ("Many people ask me why I still wear a photo camera and why I take pictures. Then I answer "why do you eat"?"- James Lalropui Keivom:), apart from that most of the things i love you can find in the section movies/music/books:) I'm also interested in geography and i can proudly announce that last month i knew (memory is short!) all the capital cities of the world:P

i never despise a good book (I love the Lonely Planet series and from time to time i like to read some fantasy though i'm a girl:) I also like Nabokov, Bukowski, Swietlicki and many more. Since I was little i was a movie-maniac willing to become a film director when i get older. from the fresh ones i adore 'Inglorious basterds' (and Brad Pitt's italian accent!), one of my favourites is also the one made by tarantino - 'Pulp fiction'. 'One flew over the cuckoo's nest' (also the original book), 'Leon - the professional, 'A beautiful mind' etc. We both love watching TV series, like Game of Thrones, Elementary, The Big Bang Theory etc. When it comes to music I mainly listen to rock (from the classics to harder 'tunes';). I visited a couple of music festivals (Heineken Open'er e.g.), I like listening to Mogwai, Beirut, 5'nizza, Dead Weather, Polish bands like Kult or Raz Dwa Trzy and i enjoy jam sessions.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

i bet you're reading here about someone doing bungee jumping or swimming in the icy water, but... i saw my dog EATING my boyfriend's glasses:D all right and i jumped of a 15metres cliff in Philippines and survived a crazy trip around Balkans - over 5000km hitch-hiking and a couple of other means of transportation (ever thought that it's impossible to hitch-hike a train, d'oh!?;). here you can see our route: http://on.fb.me/1mjxAyp oh, and if you wonder why our track makes totally no sense sometimes, well - you're right:)
