About Me
I am a friendly and adventurous person from Stavanger, Norway.
I live by the sea and enjoy spending time in and above it throughout the year. I'm also a fan of wandering around in the Norwegian mountains.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After an appreciable amount of travelling during my university years, I ended up losing my wanderlust. City after city started to look the same, cathedrals and museums didn't evoke the awe-inspiring wonder it once did. I got bored.
I realised that the most interesting part of travelling is not ticking off sight after sight, but rather experiencing its culture. Thoughts, ideas, opinions, and tastes are what is truly interesting about a place. Hotels and restaurants do their best, but there is no better way to experience culture than visiting someone’s home. I think Couchsurfing is an amazing platform for linking travellers with locals, so I’m planning on using it as much as possible in my future endeavours.
I really enjoy hosting on Couchsurfing because it gives me a holiday feeling even though I'm in the middle of a work week. I love having people over and chatting about thoughts and philosophies about life and the world while eating food and drinking wine. I am a very proud Norwegian and will try my best to ensure that my guests get to experience how fantastic Norway is. (Even though the weather can sometimes be terrible)
Send a nice request and I will do my best to accommodate you!
