I've made Couchsurfing profile just in 2016, when I realized how great it is to shift from usual "hotel-tours" traveling style, and start exploring new country through living with natives, meeting more people, and having chance to see the place from prospectives of local people! It is fun and fascinating! I hope to be able to host someone too one day! Unfortunately now I don't have the chance since I am student renting the room.
