The family emigrated to Australia in 1967 from England. I travelled and lived in different cities around Australia, then after my divorce in 1980, I moved up to Darwin. I lived and worked up there for about 3 years and one day decided to go travelling for a year. 22 years later I returned to look after my mother, who passed away 11 years ago and I have been here in Adelaide ever since.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I have just recently heard about couch surfing and I thought I would offer my spare room to other travellers. I would also like to take a holiday at some stage and perhaps try out the couch surfing, if anyone would have me at my age.
Music, Movies, and Books
Mostly the 60's and 70's music. Some of the modern singers like Ed Sheran; Adele and Taylor Swift. Don't like any sort of violent movie. Loved the Dressmaker. My favourite was the English Patient. The older movies such as Casablanca; Gone with the Wind etc.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Recently sang solo in a Fringe show as well as had my part of the acting. I always had a fear of standing in front of a crowd of people with all eyes on me. So I decided to conquer my fear and it was exhilarating.
