ABOUT ME

I love experiencing anything that is slightly out of the norm for me. Sometimes that can be a little tricky, since I already have an oddball collection of interests. This is readily apparently in my interest in music, which can range from Moody Blues, to Artic Monkeys, to Panic at the Disco, depending on the day and mood. I'm not always the most talkative person, but once I get out of my shell, I'll talk your ear off all night. My first reaction to most new things is often seen as being a bit timid, as I have the tendency to try and soak in as much as possible, but am learning that the best way to learn is to interact. After an experience that killed my social life for a short time, I am anticipating the chance to get out and re-engage life.

I am a former student of the University here in town, and due to some bad experiences with some of the professors here on campus (along with a lust to experience more of life) am looking for a new school to transfer to next Fall. I'm currently pursuing my B.S. in Computer Science, with the ultimate goal of becoming a professor.

Most of the time I'm hanging out with my friends, either chilling at a house somewhere, or frequenting the bars in Stroudsburg. I always enjoy a cold Yuengling Lager or Black and Tan, but am willing to try different beers. I don't have much of a taste for liquor.

I've recently started going to the gym again to try and regain some of my High School fitness level. I used to be an obsessive pole vaulter, and still help coach at the high school whenever time permits. I used to bike around the area frequently, and am looking forward to getting in shape again to get back into biking. There are a few lakes around the area that I love taking my Force 5 sailboat to whenever I get the chance to. There's just something about leaning so far out of the boat to balance the wind that you can see the keel that gets to me.

I also do a lot of work on cars, although not near as much as I'd love to more recently. If you're into cars you will love surfing my couch, as there is a rather large garage with almost everything you would ever need for working on cars. Eventually I will be building a drag-ready Fox Body Mustang; already have the Ford 460 big block to go into it.
