ABOUT ME

About us... wow.. difficult thing to do.. I am German but living on the Canaries for the last 12 years and married to a Cuban. I dare to say that we both are opend-minded persons, funny (at least sometimes), love watersports specially diving and all other kind of activities done at the fresh air.. being creative and reading are two things that make me get away from the real world for some time and normally I am always up to new things. Fran is more the couch potatoe and loves all around movies and series. Travelling is one of those things in our lifes that make us feel alive: Getting to know cultures and traditions, people and places of other countries are quite important to both of us. Ah. another fact: we both love music and dancing.

The world is a book, those who do not travel, will only read the first page, life is a trip

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just hosted sometimes, couchsurfing started lately by staying over some friends, but obviously it is not the same.

I was hosted in Central and South America and had a great experience.

Surfing and diving, walking and biking (actually, everything what could be done in nature) reading, being creative, cultures and traditions of other places, travelling, meeting people etc.. (would be a long list)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ayers Rock 5 years ago, Great Barrier Reef, Abel Tasman NP, Fox Glacier, Diving in Bali, Finisterra en BCS, Whale Shark and Balandra Beach in La Paz, BCS, climbing "Volcan del Nevado" in Colima, trekking in Huayhuash, Machu Picchu, Galapagos, cycling around western part of Cuba, roadtrip in South Africa.. and a lot more.. this world has amazing places and edges.. you just have to find them..

Meeting people is already learning, even if you just be with them for some minutes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

At the moment my time is very limited as I work a lot. So my time to share is nearly not existent. I am happy for you guys coming over but as said, you need being independent.
