ABOUT ME

I'm an American of Chinese descent, curiosity and a need for adrenaline drive me to many different places. I enjoy everything from art to motorcycles. I like being able to have an intellectual conversation, but also enjoy spontaneity and partying. I pretty much just enjoy life and want to live it to the fullest. I've just started a new project called "The Play Happy Project," handing out soccer balls to kids around the world....ask me about it if you want some for your next trip...BTW, they're free :) Check it out on IG @the_play_happy_project. My research primarily focuses on fear, happiness, income inequality, and altruism.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in both Paris and Munich with awesome people. It was under a fellow travelers account but it made me want to create one of my own.

Music: Reggae, Classical, EDM, HipHop, Alternative, pretty much everything but Country....unless I've been drinking ;)

Movies: Classics like Shawshank, action like The Matrix, cult like The Cube, comedy like Half baked, romcom like Serendipity, drama like Searching for Bobby Fisher, thriller like Crash.

Books: Classics to contemporary, children's to biographies. I like the feel of turning real pages and using my imagination.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped solo for my first ever skydiving trip.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a pretty well-rounded person w/ many interests and much to talk about. Philosophy and politics to pop culture and art. I want to teach and learn about everything. I was a graduate student and instructor/lecturer @ UNR, trying to get that piece of paper in sociology. Also, my family are restauranteurs, so I can cook a decent meal and teach someone else how too...
