I currently live with my husband in Hannover, Germany where I work at a school with kids that have special needs.
While I absolutely enjoy my work I also love to travel. My friends and colleagues describe me as calm, easy going, spontaneous and positive.
As a kid I had to travel a lot and so naturally that became a very dominant part of me, the urge to travel, to learn about this marvelous planet we live on. I've got a long long bucket list of places I still want to see,
I'm very blessed that I got the opportunity to combine working and traveling for a couple of years which I spent in the US and Australia.
Other than that I love to do DIY-Projects, get creative in the kitchen. I enjoy music, nature and smallish local places.

Couchsurfing is an awesome way to get around and meet new friends. I love that the hosts are usually local and can go beyond regular tourist attractions.

My all time favourite book is the children's novel "Journey to the River Sea" by Eva Ibbotson.
That book just gets me.

I've had the chance to illustrated the cover of a multilingual book of Tanzanian fables (Swahili, German and English) and I've lived and gone to school on three continents in a period of just four months.

You learn something new every day and you have the opportunity to give something every day. Even if it is just a smile, saying: "have a nice day". Be open-minded and accept people as they are and see what happens..
