Overview
About Me
Hi, I’m Elisha. I’m a dad of two little kids and married to an incredible nurse. Most of my life at home revolves around family chaos, playgrounds, bedtime stories, and trying to keep tiny humans alive and entertained. I travel less often because of that, which makes the times I do travel feel extra special.
I’m very much an extrovert. I genuinely love talking with people and hearing their stories. I’m the kind of person who ends up in long conversations with strangers about life, work, ideas, and how people ended up where they are. For me, that’s the best part of travel.
Professionally I’ve worked in tech/product for years, but what I enjoy most is meeting interesting people and learning how they see the world. I’m curious about almost everything - cities, nature, food, weird local history, how people built the lives they have.
As a guest I’m respectful, clean, and easygoing. I’m happy to cook, bring food, or just hang out and talk if that’s your thing. And if you’re busy, I’m perfectly happy exploring on my own too.
Mostly I just like good conversations with thoughtful people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I am looking for a place to stay its always a plus to meet someone new in the process and when others are looking for a place to stay I just like to return the favor! Everyone you meet knows something you don't and is better then you at something so there are so many things people can learn from each other.
