About Me
Hello, I'm Liz! I am originally from a small town in Canada, near Ottawa. I am part way through a degree in Anthropology at Trent University, but I am taking 2017/2018 school year off to travel and live a little. I've been lucky enough to do a lot of traveling in South America and a bit in Asia, but never made it to Europe! So this year I've decided to do a bit of work and travel around Europe in my free time. I am comfortable around all kinds of people and years of traveling have made me pretty low maintenance as a guest. I am pretty new to couch surfing, and haven't verified my account yet as I'm trying to travel as low cost as possible, but if you'd like me to I can. I have no allergies and love animals (i have a few myself). I am also really into history, so I'm hoping to visit as many museums as possible! My hobbies include spending way to much money on coffee, reading and talking about politics. I will be in Europe for a little bit more than 3 months. If you have any questions , feel free to contact me. Also, I've been a life long CISV member (to those who don't know it, CISV is a cultural exchange program for children across the world)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
No time like now to travel, right? So yea, i mentioned in my ' about me' ill be traveling Europe for a bit more than 3 months! I am a student back in Canada, so I'm trying to travel on a budget as I'll be heading back to school next year. I had heard of this site but never checked it out until now! Looks like a great place to meet new people as i travel.

Music, Movies, and Books
Harry Potter, LOTR, and The Beyonders for books, although I could list hundreds.
For movies, i love Studio Ghibli's stuff, Marvel is good too.
My music tastes are constantly evolving, everything is worth a try. Really like Florence and the machine tho.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have eaten pizza on 3 different continents and plan to make it 4!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have been studying the Latin language for almost 10 years! I teach private students back in Canada, so if you want to know how the Romans would have ordered a beer, let me know! I am also looking for a German tutor! If you just want to sit back and talk about the politics of the world or how the human race can live in a more sustainable way, I would love to buy you a drink.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I hope to share my thoughts and experiences with the people I meet, and I hope I can learn from them too! I also might have some maple syrup in my suitcase still!
