ABOUT ME

I am a very friendly person. I think I am hysterically funny but that is just my opinion. I was raised by hippies. I used to live on an "INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY" which was only accessable by rowboat.
I don't know how to play guitar. I like to drink beer or red wine. I do not enjoy nightclubs AT ALL. Yuck :p
I like art supplies, bakeries, bookstores, dusty antiques, medical specimens, odd museums, the history of oceanography and marine biology, the soundtracks to Wes Anderson films, top hats, opera glasses, taxidermy, giant squid, fungus, sloths, macaroni and cheese, and my aunt Jamie's red velvet cake. I work at the Oregon Country Fair and I do not accept donations from lobbyists.

I seem to spend a lot of my time driving my truck around.

I usually don't let anyone stay here because I can't but I have been to several CS meet-ups and also organized random daytrips and such with other folks on the island from this website. One day when my life makes more sense and I have a couch I will certainly let you sleep on it.

Interests

I'm not a drug addict, nor am I a drunk! I do drink though. Also I smoke cigarettes. I am interested in marine biology, Victoria-era anything, permaculture, growing green things, chickens, goats, hiking, HULA HOOPING AND NEW HULA HOOP TRICKS!! I want to learn to spin fire. I love to read and I will read anything that will hold still. I am interested in life and love and happiness and all the happy shit. I am interested in sitting with you on your porch and chit-chattin' bout rainbows. Let's make this happen.

i like folk music and psychedelic rock. I actually don't listen to music that much recently. I used to be all about it and have this huge magpie collection of mp3s but now I just listen to random stuff on Pandora. I really like Kate Wolf and Steeleye Span.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have many skills. I can teach you to hula hoop. I wish you would teach me to spin poi. Are you traveling to Oregon? I used to run guided walking tours of Portland, OR, so I could give you advice... I can bake really good pie. I can edit papers for you as long as they're in English. I can read children's books outloud to you. Will you show me where your favorite beach is please.

OH another thing I want to learn to do is SIMPLE construction stuff. If you are building something please let me help.
