Overview
About Me
I'm a happy-go-lucky, friendly, outdoorsy Australian girl, and am spending the next few months travelling through Europe! I finished my uni degree last year, and being now wonderfully free of commitment of any sort, have embarked on my global travel adventures!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am TOTALLY new to this whole couchsurfing thing! - but one huge attraction of travelling is meeting new, interesting people from different cultures, countries and backgrounds. Couchsurfing sounds like a fabulous way to meet up with the locals, hang out, learn a heap, and possibly check out the lesser known, best-to-go places around town :)
Interests
Oh so many! Anything involving the outdoors and/or the ocean - swimming, snorkelling/scuba diving, beach volleyball, hiking, camping, kayaking, sailing, football (soccer).. the list goes on!
I am also an avid reader, and love learning about practically anything (but particular interests include psychology, evolutionary biology, cosmology, history, philosophy, and politics). I'm also very much into yoga, listening to science/health podcasts, hanging with cool people, and eating good food!

Music, Movies, and Books
Books (authors): Dan Gilbert, Brian Greene, Susan Cain, George Orwell, Shakespeare, Richard Dawkins
Movies: I rarely watch television or movies! I'd usually rather read, although if I'm really needing some totally passive chill time, I'll watch a TED talk online :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 10 years old, I skipped school for a year and travelled around Australia with my family in a ute and caravan. Australia is such a vast, diverse country with an incredible range of beautiful, pristine environments - living a nomadic lifestyle and experiencing this was a better education than anything I would have received in school!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation, laughter, stories from Aus.. and I'm a decent cook!
