I believe in the challenge of meeting new people, trying new things, and embracing the unknown. I want to have fun and live this life as gracefully and fully as possible.

ABOUT ME

I am a wanderer and traveler who has thankfully spent many nights on friends' couches and/or floors and hopes to return the gracious favor.

PHILOSOPHY

I know this may sound cliche, but life is short. And we are reminded of this every day. Of course, in time we forget and take things for granted, but I working really hard to embrace each day as a new one. I try to find a challenge for myself within each day, whether a simple or more difficult one. While traveling I am faced with harder ones, but those seem to be the most fun. So, while living in the same place, for the time being, I have to work at challenging myself and not becoming complacent. To remind myself to find the challenges hidden within the mundane. I will try most things once and I just want to live a life that I can look back on with content. Although, I am sure there is always going to be something that I haven't done. Which is beyond exciting, there is so much ahead.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, since I am predominately in the same place, I would like to host others in need of a warm, comfortable bed and hot shower, and something FREE to eat. It's time to give back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met a ton of couchsurfers, but I have yet to couchsurf myself. I have just met people along the way who have opened their homes to me. I hope to create this sense of warmth and acceptance to anyone in need.

I currently in nursing school, but I am also a doula (birth coach), certified yoga teacher, and a restaurant manager.

Bridesmaids

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have lived on a farm in Israel where I learned how to care for birthing mothers (goats), which included milking, and taking care of the babies. Not only was this valuable work, but it was insanely fun. Just imagine walking into a pen filled with about 20 baby goats who know you are bringing them warm, delicious bottles of food. You struggle to maintain connected to the earth beneath your feet, while feeding one baby at a time.
