Hello! I'm Ellie and I've quit my job to come to Asia to see and learn. Looking to meet some fascinating new people who would like to share their adventures with me, whilst kindly letting me crash on their sofa.

I’m flying out to Kochi on 23rd of March and travelling up the west coast fairly gradually, so would love to hear from anyone willing to host me along the way!

I flew out to Sri Lanka on 26th Feb and my tour of Asia will hopefully continue for the next 12 months, and include India, Pakistan, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos (though not necessarily in that order). Though there will definitely be hostels involved, I want to mix up the traveller route I take and meet as many interesting people as I can and experience as much as I can. Staying with locals via Couchsurfing will help me to see the 'real' Asia (cliché I know) and gain a clearer and truer understanding of each place I visit.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I genuinely like all types of music, though I particularly love older music. I've inherited a love of classic rock and 80s punk from my dad, but also inherited my mum's taste in disco. Favourite bands would have to be The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Clash and the Jam. Also a lover of a 'best of' CD - why filter through all of a music icon's records when the best ones have already been selected for me?

Big Harry Potter fan and a lover of all things Disney. Also love Game of Thrones - so will be looking for a fellow fan in May to watch the final series with!

I make a cracking breakfast and I know all the words to almost every Disney song (including all the voices). Always up for a laugh and a pint. I’m helpful and interested by nature, and keen to be useful in anything I can be.
