Heya, my name's Ellie, I come from a small town in Northern NSW Australia, but I grew up in Cairo after age 13 and have moved around a little after that too, which has definitely given me the travel bug! I love travelling, meeting new people, getting to know different places and cultures.

I'm on couchsurfing as I'm travelling alone for the most part and would love to meet people and share experiences, sometimes without the constant going out culture of hostels. Plus, its good for the budget!

I like all music pretty much, my favourite bands/artists include the wombats, san cisco, lorde, queen, norah jones, taylor swift, dua lipa, jungle giants, cat stevens, Cold War kids, harry styles, AC/DC, client liaison, Peking duk, Aretha franklin, hilltop hoods and tbh more

I read a lot of books but not sure if I have a fave bc I love too many. Big fan of The Book Thief, the Harry Potter series. a Thousand Splendid Suns, the Basic 8, The Raven Cycle series and The Reluctant Fundamentalist.

TV series I love Brooklyn 99, The Good Place, Scream Queens, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Futurama.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done was the cave tour of Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM) cave in Belize. You have to swim into the cave, and then it is a combination of swimming, wading through water and climbing over rocks and through holes. Along the way there is a lot of pottery left as sacrifices by the mayan people, as well as thousand year old crystallised skeletons in the deepest part! Was so amazing, and I would defs recommend!

I can teach you a little spanish, (o puedo enseñarte ingles!) or give you travel tips or ideas from over the 30 countries I've been to! also i probably could offload a book or two on you, if you're a reader, since i tend to travel with a few at a time.
