I'm travelling the world, not alone, but with my best friend. We want to see the world and we want to discover different cultures. We like to tell stories about all the things we have seen in our lives. We can embrace all we find, whenever it extends our horizons.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We don't want to live a typical touristic experience. We only wish to experience a real travel, by exporing the real local culture with the people who live there long enough to know the city and all it has to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: as long as the music is made with passion we embrace it.

Movies: Everything from Godfather to The Lord of the Rings. Or perhaps every detail of the original Star Wars trilogy. We love a good story in a movie.

Books: Fantasy, sociology and sience. And everything in between.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We went hiking in Germany, 100 km's in 3 days. Climing the highest mountain of central Germany.

Teach, Learn, Share

One of us is a sailing and windsurfing teacher, who's also learning guitar for some years now. The other is a guide in the natural history museum of Brussels, and a writer. We are both passioned about sharing our own culture and learing new languages. We like to share our stories of the past.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Culture from across the sea, the European way of life and a "gezellige" evening.

"Gezellig" is a typical dutch word that can not be translated in any language. But if we meet one day, we're sure to explain the word as much as we can, and indeed make it a "gezellige" evening.
