Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Up to now, I have only been hosted thoughout my travels in Finland, Canada, Scotland, and Canada. Each time it has been enriching and amazing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Coushsurfing means travelling to me !
My first CS experiences were in Finland when I spent couple of weeks travelling from place to place, CS host to host visiting and hiking most of the time !
Then, it was in the Scotish landscape that I have been hosted, with a special dedicace to my host from Edinburgh! After a short experience in France (home country) I look forward to discovering where CS will drive me next!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once in Finland, whilst staying at a Zoological Station, I decided to go for a run. I started following the sunset (never do that, you will get tired before reaching your starting point!) and went up a hill. When I looked back, I had behind me a forest in the dark ! After getting lost, I heard someone shooting and I thought "GrEaT : a hunter ! Someone who will guide me!"...when suddenly, I saw a "shadow" standing out from the ground: I was in the very middle if a military area with men everywhere shooting and training for real!! I ended up spending more than one hour walking from camp to camp, trying to engage a conversation with militaries (who by the way didn't say a word!!) and find the colonel. Once we found this finnish colonal, he kindly drove me back in quad to my station: a sauna was waiting for me! What else could I have ask for?!
