Overview
About Me
I am an easy-going and curious person. I love to travel and meet new people. From my point of view that`s a big part which makes the life magical: to experience unexpected moments, whether it is due to new places or to new people.
I always appreciate the simple things no matter where i am: Looking into the eyes of a person and smiling while passing by, spending days in the nature while hiking and camping, a funny and honest conversation, a good party, sharing a meal with people, etc.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am at couchsurfing for simple reasons: I like to share my humble home and Sofa with open-minded (travel)people from all over the world. Everyone was already in the situation that she or he wanted to travel and was restricted due to shortcomings in money. So sleeping on a sofa means saving some money. More valuable is, that you also have the chance to meet interesting people. And to be honest friends, as a traveller dont we all appreciate to have a local-insight in the places and cultures we visit instead of having to rely on those hostel friendships? And as a host, dont we all appreciate to escape our daily routine by meeting those people who are travelling with so many plans, ideas and stories? Well I guess I am not telling you something new. I believe couchsurfing is a great idea, so lets keep it up! Visit beautifull small Cottbus.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a lot of different styles of music, movies and books. In the end sometimes it depends on the mood and situation you find yourself in. But ok I´ll give it a try:
Music: Rock, Reggae, Goa-Trance, Chillout, Triphop, Hiphop, tecno, Electro, Minimal, House, Live-Music in general, Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Reaggeton, etc...
Movies: I love independent movies which think out of the box in contrast to the ever popular superhero-movies of nowadays hollywood.
Books: Love to read books in different languages such as english or spanish.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I always appreaciated selfless friendliness from those people who dont have a lot themself. Once i was hitchhiking between Bosnian/Serbian villages (went through the village where Tito was born). I just crossed the border in the night and slept in a tent somwhere in the middle of nowhere. I didnt have the local money, no ATM in sight and no ride. I got very hungry and was stuck between villages with few cars passing by very rarely. Yet i didnt give up (had no choice either ;)) Then a car stopped and a nice couple picked me up and brought me to the next village where they went to the church. They didnt only give me ride but in addition they also gave me food and offered me some money. I took the food but refused the money...faith in humanity fostered.
