About Me

Hello! I'm a film and Japanese student from England. I was born in London and go to university in Oxford. I'm really easygoing so I love meeting new people and having spontaneous adventures. I'm open-minded to new perspectives and other cultures and enjoy learning about them a lot

I really like any kind of visual arts, photography, film, painting, design - and the varied aesthetics from different countries

Also a BIG music fan, pretty open to any genres and always open to recommendations...

Quite active, I like going on bike rides or walks and just being outdoors in nature. Also I started rock climbing a few years ago and I think the community is amazing, always happy to go do some bouldering or sport climbing with people :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people is a huge part of travelling, and having interactions with them is so much more fulfilling than staying in hotels. And I like making friends anywhere I go and chatting about anything (preferably over a drink)

I like any film with beautiful camerawork and visual style
I should read more...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycled to the top of Mont Ventoux in France, the most difficult thing I've ever done... but coming down really fast was so much fun!

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been learning to speak Japanese for a few years. I'm happy to teach English in a casual style too; lessons can be interesting but talking is the best way I think. I always like learning new skills or knowledge, doesn't matter what, I am interested in most things if they are taught by passionate interesting people

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a positive, optimistic and open-minded attitude to everything, always willing to help out to make your life easier. I'm interested in other people and like talking to people and getting to know them

I can take nice pictures of you haha

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, United States, Viet Nam
