Hello! :)

My name is Emilia.

I love summer, sunbathing, swimming in the ocean, relaxing, experiencing new things, befriending new people.
Saving animals, as well as our planet, trying to live an environment friendly life. I love everything organic, fairtrade, vegan...
A bit of a peace hippie I guess. I believe in love and equality, unity.

I'm quite sensitive and sometimes I need quiet and personal space, but I also love a good party or social gathering every now and then.

Unfortunately I can't host at the moment, as my living situation is kinda unstable. I lost my home, so right now I'm living in a rented house, but I can only stay here until July 2015, and after that I figure I'll travel the world for a bit :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel kinda stuck in my life right now. I need change, new perspectives, new experiences. I dream of seeing the world :)

The winter/autumn in Denmark, where I live, seems sooo long! I feel like it's cold and grey the majority of the year, and I'm really not good with cold weather! So I'd love to visit (and maybe even move someday) some place warm.

I also love languages, and have a fantasy of being able to speak as many languages as possible, e.g. French, Italian and Spanish, or at least have a bit of knowledge about each language.

Interests

My main passion is animal rights, animal welfare, veganism and finding environment friendly ways of living.

I also enjoy acting, and I'm educated from The National Film Actor's Academy of Denmark.

I like photography, taking beautiful pictures of nature, animals and people. And I love spending time in nature, forests, the ocean..

But I also watch a lot of films and tv shows, with a predilection for the American teen genre, but I feel kinda shallow for it, and I don't wanna waste my life sitting in front of a screen. Which is why I've decided that 2015 is gonna be my year of change. I'm gonna travel the world! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

You should know I take these bios quite serious! ;)

Music: my favorite band is Queen, and my fave singers are Jeff Buckley, Adam Lambert, P!nk and Alanis Morrisette.

Movies: I LOVE movies and tv shows, I'd have a hard time picking one! My all time fave tv shows would probably be Gilmore Girls though, and the British show Skins.

Books: Harry Potter... Always Harry Potter ;)

If you're interested in Scandinavia I shall try my best to teach you about our culture and the Danish language.

I'd also love to talk about veganism and a sustainable lifestyle. I'm still learning, but hopefully we can enlighten eachother! :D
