Hello there! I'm Emilija from Lithuania and completely new to this couchsurfing world... As i just came back from my 4-month trip from South-East Asia (and spent most of my money), now decided to come and try my luck in London.
In short, I'm friendly and not harmful human being, a pacifist to say, and also addicted to travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When you are exploring new places in the world, couchsurfing seems like a great opportunity to meet people, exchange your stories, be inspired and not to feel lonely when you are trying to "conquer" the world alone. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

-Music. From Ludovico Einaudi to Pink Floyd to The Beatles, from reggaeton to old-school hip hop. 2000' music has a special place in my heart too. I'm a huuuge fan of Stromae. But mostly I call myself a melancholic romantic, who cried during the live concerts of R YX, Cigarettes After Sex and The XX.
-Movies. Oh, lets not start with that. 969 movies on my IMDB list.. Favourite animated movie of all times though - Spirited Away. Also, the usual, like Untouchable, or Whiplash, or The Shawshank Redemption is a must.
-Books. Been a fan of Haruki Murakami's strange world for ages. Recently read the 1984 and Animal Farm by George Orwell and going into The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho at the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taught around 20 children in Cambodia age 5-7 to count from 1 to 20 in English. Pretty proud of that. Oh, and we learned The Shark Song too. Not so proud of that, though.

Teach, Learn, Share

*As a former ballroom dancer for 12 years, I could teach you some salsa or cha cha moves if you are up for the challenge. (And, if we go out together, you most like will end up dancing on the bar)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think, I could share my travelling stories, if you are interested and I promise that we'll have a good laugh together. It's all about vibrations, right? :)
