I've lived in Australia all my life but am currently in the process of moving to the UK to do my masters. I love travelling, especially since my family is spread out everywhere and chose a career in archaeology to enable me to continue travelling while I work. I am a pretty good baker and can make a mean caramel slice. I am pretty easy going and like to go with the flow.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I joined the couch surfing community to meet new people and enable me to travel the world a bit more easily. I hope that I will be able to make lifelong friends and make a network of places around the world where I can visit and experience different cultures, while having them come and visit me too.
Music, Movies, and Books
Choosing a favourite of any of those things is far too difficult, I'm up to try anything once and it's probably easier to list the things I don't like. Music wise I have a pretty eclectic taste and love everything from early rock to modern pop (although that's kind of a guilty pleasure). I really enjoy comedies and movies where you can just switch off after a long day, but I also like deeper, more intellectual stuff that makes you think if I've had enough sleep. I love reading pretty much anything, especially fantasy, adventure and mystery novels.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
One of my proudest moments was climbing Mount Kinabalu in Borneo on a school trip in year 10. It was challenging but we worked as a team to get to the top and were rewarded with a stunning view. It was so much fun and I'd love to do more hiking and climbing in the future.
Teach, Learn, Share
I coach rowing to a wide age range and tutor high school and university students in science.
What I Can Share With Hosts
A love of learning new cultures and languages, contacts around Australia to visit, a lifelong friend.
