I grew up in Schleswig-Hostein , Germany (close to Hamburg). Lived in the Netherlands, Den Haag, for 3 years and one year in Paris.

I receive a lot of requests and cannot accept everyone, so I prioritize those who don't give me the feeling of being a free hostel.
I CAN TELL if you just copy and paste - and if I sense that, I won't even respond to your request (hence my low response rate). Rules about staying at mine are below.

Rules for staying at mine:
- CS = NO dating app 🙌 Me accepting your request does not mean anything else than allowing you to sleep, shower, eat, in my room. If you make me uncomfortable, I reserve the right to kick you out.
- If the last sentence just offended you in the tiniest bit, don't come.
-I do plan my time around my guest's arrivals and stays. So don't request and then just not show up!

- You can eat all I have in the fridge but please let me know, so I know what I have to get, and don't return to an empty fridge :p
- Some rules vary according to whether we are friends / I have stayed at yours before or not :)) all people I have met and stayed at so far, please come by!

Everything above maybe sounds harsh but if you hosted a couple of people you probably understand.
I just want to concentrate my energy on those who appreciate my time and efforts :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling, especially in a way that allows me to meet many interesting people along the way. Instead of supporting some huge hostel chains I rather want to share my time and stories with people all over the world who are curious in similar ways as I -- People who appreciate the opportunity to make friends from different places and cultures, as couch surfing allows us☺️

During times when I am not able to travel, I still hope to surround myself with people who are and can light up my (sometimes too repetitive) daily life for a few days. I am genuinely happy to receive people at my place, given you don't treat me as a free AirBnB :))

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The more time passes, the more aware I get of what an incredible experience my travel through Peru, Chile and Bolivia was. I was only 19 (for many of you I am not that much older now, but for myself these 3 years inbetween changed a lot) and driving alone through these Southamerican countries, only with a backpack, often not knowing where I would stay when I arrived in a new city and not knowing where I would be the next day. I am very grateful also for my parents and brother to not stop me or from this experience or judge me from taking this time before my studies, but cheering together with me from afar when I shared pictures and stories with them.

I hope I can preserve this motivation for adventure and that I can find myself in a position someday where I can be this spontaneous as much as I want :) since currently, my studies do not allow me to and I have to stay in one place for a longer while.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Im always down for a good conversation. Ofc, if you visit me at home (wherever that might be), I'll be happy to be your host in return. Apart from that, I can teach you German or Mandarin if you want!
