ABOUT ME

I'm a laid-back traveler who makes plans but expects to just go with the flow. I love laughing, and always looking at things with a sense of humor. I grew up in the Caribbean and have lived in the US and different parts of the Middle East. I studied Economics and Middle Eastern Studies in the US, and now live in Kenya, where I work in development research. I try to take advantage of my location to travel, whether it be weekend camping trips to islands in Lake Victoria or exploring Uganda and the DRC!

I've had some amazing hosts in Hungary and Austria, and am excited to host travelers in Western Kenya!

I love new experiences, especially adventures. I'm always excited to do a hike, take a road trip, learn a sport (I recently tried out Ultimate Frisbee and love it!), learn to cook something different. I love to learn about new cultures, but also to just relax and have fun.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I hiked Adam's Peak in Sri Lanka in the middle of the night with no lights during a monsoon. The hike was incredible and well worth the freezing, drenched clothing, leeches, and very soar legs! It was made all the better by the amazing, positive and enthusiastic friends I did the trip with.
