Where to start?... I'm a pretty easy-going person and like to get outdoors as much as possible. I'm a teacher back in Australia and am wanting to learn Japanese so I can teach that when I get back home. (Still a looong way to go!) So ultimately I'm looking for hosts who are open to exchanging in language and culture. I can also help you with English if you are interested. In August I'll be settling in Okinawa to work for a year, but until then I plan on getting around to some amazing places and meeting some cool people! *** Sorry but I don't know how to change my "home" address - it should read "Australia".

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
This seems like a great way to meet people and get to know what life is like in different parts of the world. I'm interested in finding out about other countries (not only Japan) and sharing my own experiences with people too...hopefully over some great local food!
Music, Movies, and Books
I like a mixed bag - indie, folk, pop, electronic...depends on my mood! Books - love to read but rarely have the time anymore. Fantasy and thrillers/mysteries are my genres though. Movies - too many to choose!
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Jumped off a cliff in Thailand (nearly had to be pushed, but I did it nonetheless!)
