I want to experience the world, it's people and places in hopes of understanding this life of ours more completely. I try to share the peace and love I know with everyone I meet by being real and honest and accepting.

I'm adventurous and love experiencing new and novel things, especially when they take me out of my comfort zone. But I also love to kick back and relax doing things I know and enjoy. I love nature; hiking, backpacking, canoeing, but I also enjoy the excitement of city life. I'm easy going, very flexible and love getting to know people and share in their stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to couch surfing and have never hosted or stayed with anybody. Unfortunately my living situation isn't the most conducive to host other surfers. But I've got some connections in the area and my parents live close by with a big back yard and a few spare beds if people are ever in need.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent six weeks one summer hiking a portion of the Appalachian Trail solo. I saw some incredible things and met some wonderful people alone the way. And one day, I'll get back there to pick up where I left off.

Teach, Learn, Share

One of my passions is interfaith relations. I've studied a few religions and cultures and have a hope that one day our world can appreciate each other for our differences and learn to live peacefully and cooperatively. I could talk about interfaith all day.
